We are thrilled to announce that Priory Press Packaging has achieved a Grade ‘A’ British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Food Safety Certification. Increasingly, retailers and food producers require their suppliers to have obtained this international standard, and we can assure existing and prospective customers that Priory Press Packaging will continue to work to the highest level of this exacting BRC standard.
This is a guarantee for all of our customers that the production processes involved in the manufacture of their packaging complies with the packaging safety requirements for food products, and further strengthens our position in the food packaging sector. With this competitive advantage in the industry, we hope to attract new business and reinforce our commitment to food safety and quality.
The standard requires the implementation of a number of systems which include a HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) food safety plan, a quality, safety and legality management system that details the policies needed to provide a framework for complying with the standard and systems for controlling factory environmental standards, operating conditions, manufacturing and hygiene practices. The Priory Press Packaging team have worked very hard to obtain this ‘A’ grade standard, and want to affirm that by using Priory Press, you can be confident of receiving packaging which complies with the BRC food safety packaging standards.
After a successful relocation to our new premises in the summer, and now our achievement with BRC, we are striving for continuous improvement and growth in 2016, and want to thank all involved throughout the process.
