Balmoral Show 2019
Northern Ireland’s largest agricultural event and an important date in the Northern Irish calendar. A pretty big deal! We attended on Thursday the 16th of May and we caught up with current customers, tried tasty snacks and explored what talent Northern Ireland has to offer.
This year was the 151st show and the second time it took part over four days as opposed to its traditional three. There are tons of competitions including Livestock & Equine, Sheep Shearing and Show Jumping. There are cattle parades, a fun fair and an entertainment arena including a children’s farm, circus workshops, dog handling and jiving. The weather was kind to us and attendees were soaking up the spring sun whilst sampling local food and drink.
The Sales and Marketing team explored the Food Pavilion, Eikon Shopping Centre and the larger independent company tents. Lots of our customers were there! We saw Heatherlea, SD Bells, Foster’s Chocolates, Field Day and BPerfect Cosmetics to name a few! It was great to see our customers in action and we were reminded of their strong entrepreneurship.
